The Holographic patterns have been designed to be instantly visible in any light, instinctive to center regardless of shooting angle, and to remain in view while sweeping the engagement zone. Reticles of EOTech HOLOgraphic Weapon Sights are designed as large, see-through patterns to achieve lightning quick reticle to target acquisition without covering or obscuring the point of aim.

Heads Up, Full View
The Holographic Weapon Sight (HWS) employs a true Heads-Up Display that eliminates blind spots, constricted vision, or the tunnel vision associated with tubed sights. All user controls are flush to the Holographic Weapon Sight's streamline housing with no protruding knobs, battery compartments or mounting rings blocking vision at the target area. True, 2 eyes open shooting is realized with EOTech HWS. Instant threat identification is achieved by maximizing the operator's peripheral vision and ultimately gaining greater control of the engagement zone.

The Magic of Holography
In holography, all the information required to reconstruct the reticle image is recorded everywhere in the Heads-Up display window. If the window is obstructed by mud, snow, rain, etc., the Holographic Weapon Sight HWS remains fully operational , with point of aim/impact being maintained. Even in such extreme cases where the laminated window is shattered, the Holographic Weapon Sight is fully functional! As long as the operator can see through any portion of the window, the entire reticle pattern is visible on target...the operator can still engage with confidence.

Mounting
The HWS mounts to any universal Picatinny mounting rail (supports standard Weaver dovetail) with an integral mounting platform for adaptation to user preferred eye relief. The EOTech Holographic Sight can interface to any standard issue M16 or M4 variant in either a fixed carry handle or flattop receiver, and with no modifications to the weapon. The M16 and M4 mounting platforms provide for the functionally critical aspect of co-witnessing the iron sights within the HWS's Heads Up Display while maintaining the operator’s critical checkweld position.

Having a primary optic with the capability to be quickly attached and detached from a weapon system, while still maintaining “on target” repeatability, provides a degree of tactical flexibility highly valued in urban combat.  The rugged EOTech holographic sights are excellent choices for a “red dot” optic.  However up until now, adding some type of quick detach mechanism meant mounting the sight on some other mounting platform that raised the EOTech at least another 1/2"above the bore.  Besides adversely affecting cheek weld, mounting the EOTech in this manner no longer allowed the shooter to co-witness the EOTech sight with the iron sights of the weapon system.  Because the ACCUCAM replaces the existing mounting screw and thumbnut system of the EOTech, it does not add any height to the EOTech.   The ACCUCAM is the only QD Lever System available today that does not add height to the EOTech.

This unique and innovative quick detach system retrofits directly to the body of the EOTech.  The GG&G ACCUCAM QD Locking Lever System replaces the EOTech socket head screw or thumbnut attachment method.  No other modifications are required. The ACCUCAM system installs in approximately ten minutes.  The only tools required are a 7/64" allen wrench and a torx head wrench, both are included in the kit.  This system fits new and existing EOTech sights that have the protective shroud and only adds 3 ounces.   It is fully adjustable to fit Weaver and MIL-STD 1913 dovetails, even those that are worn or out of spec.  Once installed on the EOTech the sight can be quickly installed on a dovetail rail in seconds by rotating the ACCUCAM Cam Lever to the locked position.  It can then be quickly removed by rotating the ACCUCAM Cam Lever to the unlocked position.  In tests, the ACCUCAM Locking Lever System has shown to be repeatable to less that 1/2 MOA.  The unique finger loop design is easily operated, even with a gloved hand and the rounded design is ergonomic and virtually snag proof.  Manufactured from solid billet 4140 steel and manganese phosphated matte black to mil spec, the new GG&G ACCUCAM QD Locking Lever System provides a solid, rugged quick detach system for your EOTech.
